My E.G. Services Berhad, the operator for the Malaysian E-Government MSC Flagship Application, is a one-stop service provider that significantly offers the online facility for flawless and hassle-free transactions. It has even set up strategically located branches all over Malaysia, where your personal appearance or personal interactions are required, in order to address and enhance its quality services.

Such services range from informational inquiries to application or renewal of permits and licenses between several of Malaysia’s local, state, and federal government agencies and its residents or business enterprises. Through MyEG’s electronic portal, foreign workers are able to renew successfully their working permits and passports quickly and easily.

However, upon accessing MyEG’s site, it is noteworthy and advisable undertaking the necessary steps prior to proceeding and submitting your renewal to MyEG:

  • Applicants should understand fully and agree, without qualification or limitation, all the terms and conditions of its foreign worker permit renewal Pas Lawatan (Kerja Sementara) PL (KS) services.
  • To avoid any unforeseen force majeure events, renew permits as early as three (3)-months prior to their expirations.
  • Confirm whether your foreign worker/s passed the Foreign Worker Medical Examination Monitoring Agency (FOMEMA) examination, or no longer required taking FOMEMA examination; results are available at fomema.com.my. Plan your FOMEMA schedules to avoid late renewal submissions, as result updates can take up to two weeks after the medical checkup.

Hereunder are the necessary, yet, quick and easy procedures for the online renewal of your foreign worker/s PL(KS) permit/s:

  1. Log in or register as MyEG user at myeg.com.my.
  2. On its menu, click the “Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia” button.
  3. Another prompt menu opens; choose the “Foreign Workers PL(KS) Permit Renewal”.
  4. Fill out completely the necessary details of the foreign workers individually on the form provided; or, key in entries using the MS Excel format provided by pressing the “Foreign Worker Batch Upload” button. The system then displays the total renewal payment, including the summary of your foreign workers.
  5. Choose your preferred mode of online payment. For ease and convenience when having large volumes to transact, it is recommendable opening a prepaid account with MyEG, where it accepts your payments besides through credit card or eBanking.

Renewal charges and service fees, including the newly imposed Goods and Services Tax (GST), issued with corresponding receipts, are the same as mandated by Immigration Malaysia. MyEG only entertains refunds when the foreign worker fails his/her medical checkup.

To facilitate fast and easy renewals, you may avail the Insurance Guarantee (IG), Foreign Workers Compensation Scheme (FWCS) or Skim Pehinlungan Insurans Kesihatan Pekerja Asing (SPIKPA), and the Foreign Workers Hospitalization & Surgical Scheme (FWHS) or Skim Pampasan Pekerja Asing (SPPA) by purchasing them from MyEG. When having your own IG, FWCS and FWHS, MyEG requires uploading and scanning their cover notes for verification purposes of your respective insurance providers.

  1. Upon successful payments and transactions, and for as long as records are in the database, customer service and logistic officers of MyEG deliver your permits at your location within two (2)-working days. However, certain delays occur on instances when MyEG is unable to verify records, and submits them for further verifications to Immigration Malaysia.

During the delivery of permits, ensure the availability of your MyKad, or for biometric thumb print confirmation and acknowledgment processes, as well as the foreign worker’s passport for affixing the renewed permits. For companies, MyKad verification requires the presence of up to three (3)-company representatives, or a company director, whose listed name is under Form 49.

Below is a list of the required certified true copy (CTC) of supporting documents, which the employer prepares and submits to MyEG; or, to the attending MyEG officer once, for a first time transaction and during the first permit delivery:
